Y'all I am so far behind, but I need to start somewhere so....here we go!
My sweet Gracie turned 2 on Feb. 22nd!
We bought her a trampoline and she was very curious what daddy was doing outside all morning! She kept peeking out the back door hoping to sneak a peek! I told her she could go outside and she ran straight to her trampoline. She touched it and said something about her birthday, then immediately ran to her slide, which was not new ha!
We had a Minnie Mouse theme party, with the original minnie that was black/yellow/red. As you can tell from this picture, she got way too much stuff!
I had grand plans to throw a pinterest worthy party, but let's get real... I'm too lazy and tired for that right now! Adeline was only 3 weeks old and I just didn't have it in me. It's really only about the cake and presents, right?
We just did something simple with "hot diggity dogs", potato salad, hips, fruit cups, and cake! I LOVE how her little minnie cake turned out, so stinkin cute!
Me and sweet baby A. She doesn't like having her picture taken apparently! I realized at the party that I only had pictures with her on the day she was born, and we only took one of her and I so I needed a few more! I had a cute outfit planned for her that coordinated with Gracie's.... but please reference the above paragraph about said laziness. I'm just thrilled I actually got Gracie's b-day dress made, ha!
Gracie loved opening her presents and it was so sweet because she was so sincere about each one and wanted to open it and play with it. I think next year we might wait to open presents until everyone leaves.
Those kids were like vultures on those presents... it was crazy!
Making a wish!
We tried forever to get a family picture, and this is the best we could do.
Obviously in hindsight, we should have taken it before the party rather than after when GG was crashing from a sugar high.
Miss A passed out on Daddy! I think we were all passing out at this point. Having a 2 year old's birthday party isn't for the faint of hearts!
Me and the birthday girl! Her bandaid is a story for another day!
My two sweet girls!
And the goodies.. just for the memory book.
1. Lots of clothes
2. Tangled DVD (her fave)
3. Minnie Mouse stuffed doll
4. Trampoline
5. LeapPad 2
6. Minnie Mobile
7. Rapunzel hair and crown and skirt

10. Princess cash register
11. Coloring books, markers, stickers. {whoever invented "Color Wonder" should be the richest person alive. BEST thing ever!}

13. Princess tea party set
here is #6 on the list above, her Minnie Mobile! You can't tell in this picture, but it's red sparkle and sparkles in the sun! This is courtesy of her daddy and nina!
The aftermath, pre nap. Actually I don't think she ever did nap.
Oh my sweet, sweet girl! Happy 2nd Birthday Gracie Girl!
